Build a 1-Person AI Business with Claude/AI UGC Video with Claude

Course 12 · Lesson 13 of 14

Course Summary: AI UGC with Claude

You now have a complete UGC production system from script to avatar to edit to ad creative

Here is everything in this course and how it fits together.

What You Learned

UGC is not what you think

UGC-style content outperforms branded creative because it bypasses the "this is an ad" filter in the viewer's brain. Average CTR is 2.5 to 3.8% compared to 1.62% for standard branded creative. The style is the mechanism: authenticity over polish, peer-to-peer over brand-to-consumer. AI tools produce this style at scale without you filming yourself constantly.

The six UGC formats

Problem/Solution Talking Head. Before/After Screen Recording. Client Story. Tutorial with Embedded Offer. Reaction and Contrarian. B-Roll with Voice-Over. Each serves a different purpose and performs differently by platform. The Talking Head is your default starting format.

Writing UGC scripts with Claude

Six-part structure: Hook, Problem, Bridge, Solution, Proof, and CTA. Scripts must sound like a real person talking and not like a brochure. The naturalising prompt takes Claude's first draft from polished to authentic. Store all final scripts in UGC.md.

The first 3 seconds

Everything lives or dies in the hook. Five hook styles: mid-sentence start, direct question, contrarian statement, specific outcome, and identity address. The visual hook in the first frame is what stops the scroll and the audio hook is what keeps them. Track 3-second view rate in Meta Ads Manager as your hook quality score.

Creating your avatar with HeyGen

The Creator plan at $29 per month gives you approximately 13 to 20 videos monthly. Instant Avatar which is a one-time purchase between $29 and $199 creates an avatar from 2 to 5 minutes of your own footage. Meta requires AI disclosure for avatar videos so mark the checkbox in Ads Manager.

AI voice with ElevenLabs

The Free tier gives 10,000 characters per month with no commercial rights. The Starter plan at $5 per month adds commercial rights and voice cloning. Clone your own voice from a 3-minute clean recording. Use ElevenLabs for screen recordings, B-roll narration, and any content where no talking head is needed.

Editing in CapCut

The free plan handles all UGC needs because the 10-minute project limit is never a constraint for short-form content. Auto-captions are mandatory because most viewers watch muted. Export at 9:16 for Reels and use a square crop for Feed placements. A consistent file naming convention keeps your library manageable.

Working with real creators

Billo is $99 per video with creators in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. Fiverr ranges from £30 to £150 per video with a wider range of creators. Direct micro-creator outreach costs £50 to £200 per video. Always specify usage rights in writing before filming. Use AI avatars first and move to real creators when a script is proven.

UGC for service businesses

Proof formats include the before and after screen, a specific metric, a client story, and a timeline. The screen recording walkthrough is the highest-credibility format for builders. When you have no client results yet use your own experience, process-as-proof, or hypothetical category data honestly framed.

UGC as ad creative

Dark posts run in the feed without appearing on your page. AI disclosure is mandatory for avatar content. Key metrics are the 3-second view rate for hook quality, ThruPlay rate for content quality, CTR, and CPL. The test loop runs from hook angle to body to CTA to landing page.

UGC.md

Contains your offer, audience, proof points, hook bank, scripts, content log, and Claude prompt templates. Updated after every piece of content published. Referenced in every session where you write new content. Linked to MARKETING.md, SALES.md, EMAIL.md, and ADS.md.

Your UGC.md Checklist

By now UGC.md should contain all of the following.

What I'm Selling section with your offer in one specific paragraph. Target Audience section describing their frustration in their own language. Platforms section showing where you are publishing. Proof Points with at least one specific result or own-experience proof. Hook Bank populated as hooks are written and tested. Scripts with at least one complete script stored. Content Log with at least one entry. And all four standard Claude Prompt Templates.

Where This Fits in Track 2

This is course 4 of 5 in the Sales and Marketing track.

Marketing with Claude covered content, audience, and voice. Sales with Claude covered qualifying, proposals, objections, and closing. Outbound Email with Claude covered cold email, signals, and sequences. AI UGC with Claude which you just completed covered scripts, avatars, editing, and ad creative. AI Ads with Claude is next and covers hooks, Meta, Google, testing, and results.

The UGC videos you produced in this course are the creative assets you run in the next course. You are not starting from scratch when you get there because you already have tested content, a hook bank, and performance data.
