Build a 1-Person AI Business with Claude/Getting Started with Claude Code

Course 01 · Lesson 12 of 12

Homework: Your Claude Code Foundations Build

This is your assignment for Claude Code Foundations.

It is not optional. The people who skip the homework are the people who forget everything and start over three weeks later. The people who do it lock in the skill and move forward.

This takes 15 minutes. Do it now.

Your assignment

Build a personal introduction page using Claude Code and post it in the community.

The brief

Use this prompt and fill in your own information where you see the square brackets.

Prompt:

Build me a personal introduction page called index.html.

About me:My name is [YOUR NAME]I am [BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WHO YOU ARE, for example "a small business owner in Dubai" or "a freelance photographer in London"]My goal for the next 90 days is: [YOUR GOAL]One thing I want to build using AI: [WHAT YOU WANT TO BUILD]

Design:Clean and professionalDark background preferred, but suggest a direction that fits my personalityMy name should be the largest element on the pageBelow that: who I am in one sentenceThen my 90-day goalThen what I want to build with AIA simple footer with today's date

Make it look like something I would actually be proud to share. No external libraries, pure HTML and CSS only.

After you build it

Open index.html in your browser by dragging it into Chrome, Safari, or Firefox. Review it and ask yourself if there is anything you want to change. If yes, tell Claude what to adjust and make the change. Once you are happy with it, take a screenshot.

How to post it in the community

Go to the Claude Codex Mastery community feed. Create a new post. Title it "Claude Code Foundations Homework" and attach your screenshot. Write one sentence about what you want to build next.

That is it. You are done with this course.

Bonus challenge (optional)

If you finish in under 10 minutes and want to push further, ask Claude Code to add one of these to your page:

Prompt:

Add a dark and light mode toggle button to this page that switches between the two when clicked.

Prompt:

Add an animated typing effect to my name so it types itself out when the page loads.

Prompt:

Add a skills section below the current content showing three things I am currently learning or working on: [LIST YOUR THREE THINGS]

Prompt:

Add a call to action button at the bottom that links to [YOUR LINK]. Make it stand out visually from the rest of the page.

Describe what you want in plain English and let Claude build it.

You are ready for Track 1

Once your homework is posted, head straight to Track 1: The Memory System.

What you build there will change the quality of everything you create with Claude Code for the rest of this course series.
