Welcome. This is the first course in Build a 1-Person AI Business with Claude.

Before you build anything, you need to understand the tool in your hands. Most people skip this and get stuck 20 minutes in because they don't know what Claude Code actually is, why it behaves the way it does, or how to talk to it properly.

This course fixes that.

What you will learn in this course:

By the end of Claude Code Foundations, you will know:

• What Claude Code is and why it is different from every AI tool you have used before.
• The difference between Claude AI and Claude Code this confuses almost everyone at first and we clear it up in the first lesson.
• Every place Claude Code lives Desktop App, Terminal, VS Code, and more and which one you should actually use.
• How to install it correctly on your machine, step by step, with no assumptions.
• How to run your first prompt and get a real result back.
• How to navigate the interface without getting lost.
• How to control what Claude does and does not do automatically this is where most beginners lose hours.
• What a context window is and why it changes how you work.
• What to do when Claude makes a mistake and it will. This lesson alone saves you hours of frustration.

What you will build:

Before this course ends, you will have Claude Code installed, running, and producing your first real output a personal page built entirely through conversation. No code. No tutorials. Just you, a prompt, and a working result.

How this course is structured:

Each lesson covers one thing. Read it, do the action at the end, and move to the next one. There is no homework to wait on. Everything you build, you build right now, in real time.

At the end of this course there is one mission. Post it in the community and tag it Claude Code Foundations so the team and other members can see your first build.

One rule before you start:

Do not read ahead without doing the actions. The people who get results here are the people who build as they learn not the ones who finish all the lessons first and then try to apply everything at once.
