Build a 1-Person AI Business with Claude/Landing Pages

Course 05 · Lesson 12 of 13

Course Summary: Landing Pages

You just built a landing page that collects real leads.

Here is everything you learned and how it builds on itself to give you a repeatable system.

What you learned

Landing page vs website. A website builds presence. A landing page drives action. The difference is structural: a landing page has one goal, one offer, one CTA, and no way to leave except forward.

The one rule. One goal. One offer. One action. Every element on the page serves that one action. Navigation has no external links. Every button does the same thing. This is not a preference. It is the mechanism that makes conversions happen.

The anatomy of a converting page. Ten sections in order: navigation, hero, problem, solution, benefits, social proof, lead capture form, FAQ, final CTA, and footer. Each section has one job. Together they mirror the reader's emotional journey from attention to action.

Writing a headline that works. A great headline stops the scroll, communicates the offer, speaks to the right person, and creates desire all in one line. Specific beats vague. Outcomes beat features. The reader's benefit beats your product's name.

Copy that converts. PAS: Problem, Agitate, Solution. Write the pain before the answer. Features tell them what it is. Benefits tell them what changes. Specificity makes claims believable. Every line earns its place or gets cut.

Lead magnets. A trade: your email for their information. The best lead magnets are specific, fast to consume, immediately useful, and directly related to what you sell. A checklist or template is better than a long guide for a first landing page.

The master build prompt. A single comprehensive prompt that builds the entire landing page in one session. Every section, every CTA, every design rule, and the Netlify form attributes all in one prompt. Detailed input produces precise output.

Lead capture setup. Netlify Forms: add data-netlify="true" and name="your-form-name" to the form tag. Deploy to Netlify. Enable email notifications in the dashboard. Free for 100 submissions per month. Test with a live submission before sharing the page with anyone.

Design for conversion. Narrow content width of 720px for readable scanning. Visual hierarchy where the button is the visual star. Whitespace as a trust signal. Trust lines below every CTA. Mobile form fields easy to tap. The accent colour reserved for the CTA button only.

Test and refine. The pre-launch checklist covers offer clarity, CTA consistency, form function, copy quality, mobile experience, and design quality. Fix anything that fails. Send the URL to one real person before driving any traffic.

What you have now

A complete landing page built with Claude Code. A working lead capture form connected to Netlify. A thank-you page that confirms the action was taken. A live URL that collects leads. And a pre-launch checklist you can use for every future landing page you build.

The repeatable system

Every landing page you build from here uses the same workflow.

Define your one goal, one offer, and one action. Plan which sections from the anatomy you need. Write your headline, problem copy, benefits, and CTA text. Build using the master prompt and let Claude build the full page. Connect Netlify Forms and activate email notifications. Refine using the design checklist, copy checklist, and mobile check. Test with a live form submission and share with one real person. Launch and drive traffic.

This is a skill you now own. Every landing page you build from here gets faster.

What is coming next

Track 5 is Web Apps.

Everything you have built so far, websites and landing pages, has been static HTML and CSS. Pages that look great but do not do anything dynamic.

Web apps do things. They respond to user input. They save data. They calculate, generate, personalise, and interact.

Track 5 takes you into building your first real web application with Claude Code. No coding background required.

Do the homework before moving on

The homework is in the next lesson. Post your live landing page in the community and share your lead magnet with other members.
