Course 09 · Lesson 11 of 13

The Master Marketing Prompt

Every lesson combined into one prompt that runs your entire content week in a single pass

Every lesson so far has given you one piece of the system.

Lesson 2 gave you your audience and message. Lesson 3 gave you content pillars and your topic backlog. Lesson 4 gave you your voice profile and banned phrases. Lesson 5 gave you the content engine turning one idea into six pieces. Lesson 6 gave you hooks that make people stop scrolling. Lesson 7 gave you newsletter structure and writing. Lesson 8 gave you the weekly batch session and calendar. Lesson 9 gave you the analytics feedback loop.

This lesson combines all of it into one prompt that runs your entire content week in a single pass.

Before You Run It

This prompt only works as well as your MARKETING.md is filled in.

Before running, confirm you have your audience defined as one specific person from Lesson 2, their problem written in their own words from Lesson 2, your one message from Lesson 2, your four content pillars from Lesson 3, your voice rules and banned phrases from Lesson 4, and one idea selected from your content backlog from Lesson 3.

If any of these are missing the master prompt will produce generic content. Complete the earlier lessons first.

The Full MARKETING.md Format

Here is what your complete MARKETING.md should look like before running the master prompt. Fill in every section:

# MARKETING.md
## Audience

[ONE SPECIFIC PERSON — e.g. "A freelance web designer who has been doing this

for 2 years, charges $300 to $600 per project, works with local small businesses,

and keeps losing work to agencies that charge ten times as much"]

## Their Problem (In Their Words)

[HOW THEY WOULD COMPLAIN TO A FRIEND — e.g. "I keep losing quotes to agencies

that charge five times what I do, and I can't figure out how to show clients why

I'm the better choice without sounding desperate"]

## My One Message

[ONE SENTENCE — e.g. "I help freelance designers use Claude Code to build things

that agencies charge five times more for, in a fraction of the time"]

## Content Pillars
- Teach: [YOUR SENTENCE]
- Show proof: [YOUR SENTENCE]
- Show process: [YOUR SENTENCE]
- Take a stance: [YOUR SENTENCE]
## My Voice
- Contractions: [ALWAYS / SOMETIMES / NEVER]
- Sentence length: [SHORT AND PUNCHY / LONGER / MIXED]
- Tone: [YOUR DESCRIPTION]
- I often say: [YOUR PHRASES]
- I never say: [BANNED WORDS AND PHRASES]
- Other rules: [ANYTHING SPECIFIC TO YOU]

The Master Marketing Prompt

Open Claude with your project folder so it reads @MARKETING.md. Copy this entire prompt, fill in the three variable fields, and run it:

Using @MARKETING.md — run my full weekly content batch.

THIS WEEK'S IDEA: [ONE IDEA FROM CONTENT-IDEAS.MD]

REAL CONTEXT THIS WEEK (optional — use in the newsletter opening):

  • [ANYTHING THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED — a client conversation, a mistake, a win,
  • something you noticed. Write "nothing specific" if nothing happened.]

LAST WEEK'S FEEDBACK:

  • [WHAT CLAUDE TOLD YOU TO DO MORE OF OR LESS OF — from the analytics lesson.
  • Write "first week — no feedback yet" if this is your first run.]

Produce all of the following, in my voice, for my specific audience:

  1. HOOKS (10 options)

Mix of these styles: name the problem directly, curiosity gap, bold claim,

direct address, "nobody tells you" or "I used to" framing.

Each hook is ONE sentence, works with no context, and sounds like something

I would say. Mark your top 3 with a one-line note on why each one works.

  1. SHORT PUNCHY POST

2 to 4 sentences. Start with your favourite hook from option 1.

State the core idea directly. No build-up.

  1. LONG POST (150 to 250 words)

Start with your second-favourite hook from option 1.

Explain the reasoning with one concrete example.

End with one sentence that lands the point cleanly.

  1. CAROUSEL OUTLINE (4 slides)

Slide 1: Hook — bold statement that makes someone swipe

Slide 2: First point, one sentence

Slide 3: Second point, one sentence

Slide 4: Payoff — what to do or remember

  1. CAPTION (for a photo or video showing this idea in action)

First line is the hook. Body supports the visual. Under 150 words.

Optional call to action at the end — one thing and not three.

  1. FULL NEWSLETTER ISSUE

Subject line under 55 characters.

Opening: 2 to 3 sentences using the real context above if available.

Body: the main idea in 150 to 200 words with one example.

Takeaway: one sentence.

Ask: one clear next step, or close without one.

  1. QUESTION POST

State your perspective then ask one specific question they can answer

in a sentence. Not "What do you think?" — something direct and specific.

  1. POSTING CALENDAR (Monday to Friday)

Spread pieces 2 through 7 across the week in a sensible order.

Format: Day | Format | Platform | Copy (first 2 lines)

Rules for everything:

  • Apply all voice rules and banned phrases from @MARKETING.md
  • Do not repeat the same sentence or phrase across pieces
  • If last week's feedback said to lean on a specific pillar or format, do that
  • Nothing should sound like a content template. Everything should sound like me.

What to Do With the Output

Read everything before scheduling anything. The master prompt gets you most of the way in one pass but you are the final check for three things.

Voice: does it actually sound like you or just close? Accuracy: did you actually experience what the newsletter says you experienced? First line: pick the hook you are most confident in and not the one Claude marked as top.

Fix anything that feels off using the method from the voice lesson. Paste the line, say what is wrong with it, and give an approximate example of what you mean. Then build the calendar.

Your Weekly Ritual

Once MARKETING.md is in place the weekly ritual is as follows.

10 minutes: run the analysis prompt from the analytics lesson on last week's results and write down one change to make.

5 minutes: pick this week's idea from your backlog based on which pillar Claude said was working.

40 minutes: run the master prompt, read all output, and edit for voice.

10 minutes: build the calendar and assign pieces to days and platforms.

5 minutes: schedule or drop into your notes for manual posting.

Total: 60 to 70 minutes every week. Full content week, done.

Your Action Right Now

Make sure MARKETING.md is completely filled in covering audience, message, pillars, voice rules, and banned phrases. All of it.

Then run the master prompt with this week's idea and whatever context you have. Build your calendar. Publish on schedule.

You now have the complete system.
