Course 13 · Lesson 1 of 14

AI Ads with Claude: Start Here

The final course in the Sales and Marketing track putting paid budget behind what is already working

This is course 5 of 5 in the Sales and Marketing track.

You now have a system that brings people to you through content, converts conversations into clients through Sales, reaches cold prospects through Outbound Email, and produces video creative through AI UGC. This course puts paid budget behind what is already working: the one channel that can reach thousands of the right people in a day and not over months.

Done badly, paid ads waste money fast. Done well, they are the most scalable way to add new clients once you have an offer that already converts.

Before You Run Ads

Paid ads amplify what already works. They do not fix what does not.

If you run ads before your offer is clear, before you know who your client is, and before you have a message that converts organically, ads will spend your budget teaching you things you should have learned for free.

The three prerequisites are: a clear specific offer from the Sales course, knowing who you are selling to from the Marketing course, and at least one client who found you through organic channels.

If those three are true, paid ads can accelerate the same thing that is already working. If they are not, go back and build them first.

What You Will Build

By the end of this course you will have six things.

ADS.md which is your campaign operating system that Claude reads before writing any ad copy. A bank of 20 or more tested hooks for your offer written with Claude. Complete Meta ad copy covering primary text, headline, and CTA for at least one campaign. A Google Search RSA ready to go with headlines and descriptions. A testing framework that tells you what to scale and what to kill. And a weekly review routine that improves results consistently.

The Two Platforms You Will Learn

Meta Ads covering Facebook and Instagram are best for reaching people who are not actively searching. You interrupt their scroll with something relevant and compelling. Works for visual services, local businesses, community offers, and anything where seeing the result matters.

Google Search Ads are best for capturing people actively searching for what you do. They typed a query, they have intent, and your ad answers it. Works for services with established search demand such as web design, automation, local services, and bookings.

You do not need both to start. Pick the one that matches how your clients find solutions.

The ADS.md Structure

Through this course you will build a file called ADS.md. Every Claude prompt in this course references it.

# ADS.md
## What I'm Advertising

[Offer being promoted — from SALES.md]

## Target Audience

[Who sees the ad — from MARKETING.md]

## Platforms

[Meta / Google / both — and which is primary]

## Winning Hooks

[Hooks that have performed — added as you test]

## Campaign Log

[Active campaigns, budgets, results, what changed]

## Creative Angles

[Proven themes and angles — with performance notes]

## Landing Page

[URL being sent to and what the page does]

ADS.md works alongside MARKETING.md, SALES.md, and EMAIL.md. Reference all of them in a prompt and Claude knows your full acquisition system.

Starting Budget

You do not need a large budget to start. You need enough to get meaningful data.

For Meta, £5 to £10 per day per ad set gives you enough volume to judge a creative within 7 to 10 days.

For Google, £10 to £15 per day per campaign is the minimum to get enough clicks to see what converts.

Total testing budget is £150 to £300 per month. This is enough to test 3 to 4 creative concepts on Meta or 2 to 3 keyword groups on Google and know what is working.

Do not spend more than this until you have data showing a profitable cost per lead. Scale what works and do not guess.

How to Use This Course

Work through lessons in order. Each lesson ends with a Claude prompt you run immediately and an action you complete the same day.

By Lesson 8 you will have a campaign set up and ready to launch. By Lesson 10 you can read your first week of results and know what to change. By Lesson 11 ADS.md is complete and every future campaign starts smarter.
