Course 07 · Lesson 1 of 13
3D Websites: Start Here
There is a category of website that stops people mid-scroll.
Not because the content is exceptional. Because the experience is unlike anything they expected from a browser tab. Objects rotate. Particles float and respond to the cursor. The page feels alive.
This course teaches you how to build that experience with Claude Code and no coding knowledge.
What you will build
A complete 3D website with at least one of these effects.
A particle background featuring thousands of floating dots filling the space behind your hero text, moving slowly and reacting to your mouse cursor.
A rotating 3D object such as a geometric shape like a sphere, torus, or crystal rotating in real time beside your content.
A scroll-driven animation where 3D elements animate, scale, and move as the user scrolls down the page.
A mouse-reactive scene where a 3D environment tilts and responds to wherever the cursor moves on screen.
What you will learn
What makes a website 3D and how it works inside a browser. The types of 3D effects you can build in one Claude Code session. How to describe 3D effects to Claude without any technical background. How to build a particle background with mouse interaction. How to add rotating 3D objects to any existing page. How to build scroll-driven 3D animations. The master prompt that builds a complete 3D website in one session. How to keep 3D sites fast on mobile. How to deploy a 3D site the same way as any other project.
What you need before starting
Claude Code installed and working from Track 1. Your CLAUDE.md with design rules set up from Track 2. A completed website from Track 3 is helpful but not required. A folder for this project on your computer.
One important thing to know
3D on the web looks complex. The code behind it is complex. But you are not writing the code. Claude is.
Your job is to describe what you want to see. What moves, what colour, how fast, and how it reacts to the user. That description is something you can write in plain English. And that description is what Claude converts into a fully working 3D scene.
The more specific your description, the more accurate the result.
This course gives you the exact language to use.
